Guided
Search
Many
databases and on-line catalogs have a screen that will guide
you through a search.
You can type in your search words and choose how to search them
(for example, from the author, index, title, keyword, etc.).
You
can then choose to insert the boolean
search operators (and, or, not).
World
Wide Web search engines often have this option listed under
"Advanced Searches."
