Instructional Design for E-Learning Graduate Certificate

The Program

The Instructional Design for E-Learning graduate certificate helps companies with a widely dispersed workforce create online training programs. There are no prerequisites for these courses, and they're a start toward a master's degree in Leadership in Technology Integration for Teachers  or Training and Design for Corporate Trainers if you decide you want more.  Courses focus on

  • learning theory and instructional design
  • software tools and technology
  • graphic and creative design
  • E-learning program implementation and management

The Curriculum

The program requires completion of 3 graduate courses and one hands-on skills course scheduled weekends and evenings.

  • Systematic Instructional Design:  INSYS 415
  • Intro to Computer-Based Instruction:  INSYS 441
  • Current Topics in Learning Technology:   INSYS 597
  • Tools for E-Learning Development: INSYS 5104

    You may request a certificate that acknowledges the completion of your program when you finish the required course work with a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
